We hit the Croix last night for a beautiful night of fishing. The mid 70 degree water is coming down nicely and most of the rocks are exposed again. I picked up several smallies on tubes and they just inhaled the whole jig, Yikes! Them frisky 12 inch jumpers were hungry. The silvers all came on top-water casting to their swirls. What a blast!
We didn’t try for any walleyes last night since the bass were so much fun.
Good Luck,
Ferny.
