Fished from 7:30-12:30 Sunday morning. Trolled crank baits in 16-22′ from Prescott to the Kinni. Tried 4-5 different spots and managed a few short sauger and a smallie. The weather was perfect, alot of pleasure boaters running around. Anyone else have any luck?

I was out there from 6:30 unitl 1 and did about the same. Found the sauger in 26 to 28 ft and the walleye in 20 to 22.

Did catch a 38 inch catfish which was a lot of fun. She made two runs to the bottom and took about 10 minutes to land. Any idea what this fish would have weighed?

Channel cat or Flathead? On a crank bait?

Took the wife out sunday afternoon. I had one keeper wally and a couple 10.5 inch crappie. She had a 11.5 inch and 10.75 inch crappie. Also a handful of C&R crappies. All in all a great day on the water with the fishin’ partner who doesn’t get the chance to come with me nearly often enough.

It was a Flathead and a #7 shad rap did the trick. I was using leadcore line and smacking the bottom pretty good. Thought it was a snag until it started to yank back.

Last year I caught a Flathead on a Wallydiver. It was hugh & RangerKarls said it weighed about the same as a bag of rocksalt. Since that day, I now always carry a camera & a scale when fishing
Bringing in a big flathead can be lots of fun. Congratulations

I spent sunday out from aprox 8am to almost 6, had a great time but few fish, mostly so of the kinni mn side all in less than 12 ft dragging minnows, combo of eyes and saugs, with a nice cat my son landed, probably 6lbs or a little more. marking alot of fish so of the hudson bridge but 30′ or more, couldnt put any on the line. but will definatly keep trying hard.
