i checked 2 weeks back at a local shore hotspot that still had ice over it, but in other areas in the same locale the shore was clear. ive been told the crappies come in as soon as the ice goes, does anyone know if its still too early or almost right for the shore bite to pick up?
Saw a guy fishing out of a canoe under the railroad bridge on the Mallieu Sunday night. Thought it would be a little early for that but maybe not.
I saw a few vehicles parked down by the dam saturday I assume they were fishing from shore
that’s a good spot for ice out crappies. used to be able to fish from bridge but not anymore
