Got out for about 3 hours this morning. The bite has been better but is still not bad. Iced 6 crappies with four keepers, 3 striped bass, a little walleye and hooked into something real nice but it spit the hook before it got to the hole. 
Fish were hitting crappie minnows and fat heads both on plain hooks and jigs. There is still about 24-30 inches of ice that is melting quick. About 6-10 inches of water and slush on top of the ice
