All I can say is WOW!!! I have never seen such a flood of people on the ice outta Bayport. It was nuts to butts!!! I guess from talking to a guy (had WI plates) there was an article in a recent news mag that has to do with the outdoors about the ice bite on the Croix. I talked with one local he stayed the night in his wheel house and he didnt do very well while others were definatly on the fish. I was south of bayport trying some of my summer time fishing holes with no luck at all. I will be heading down again this morning “dark” and early to beat the major traffic jam. All them peeps fishing out there and this is the one and only report
