Hey guys,
I just got word I can take off work tomorrow, and am hitting the croix bright an early for the first time on ice this season 
My question is, how safe is the ice out of bayport bay? Can one walk all the way across to the wisconsin side of the bay over the deep water, or even get down to the highlines?
I know ive seen a few guys out front by the point, and even a few shacks, but I don’t want to venture out too far without knowing if it’s safe. Gotta respect the river
