this fish swallowed the shad rap completely, 0 chance of surviving. anyone who knows me knows I very rarely catch or target walleye. trust me the walleye/sauger population of the St Croix Riv is under no threat from SteveO

I had an eye in my livewell that exact weight and length, however it mysteriously disappeared at the Hudson dock while I went to get my truck and back the trailer down to load my boat. Fortunately, the even bigger eye in the other livewell was still there when I got home.

Nice fish Steve! Were you fishing alone for with a notable guide?

I have to admit, when I saw your photo I said to myself…”what’s he doing with that at home?” Not that there’s any laws saying otherwise…just that it was out of your character.

Now if I saw a pic with EJ in front of a smoker with a 50 inch musky?? I would think nothing of it.

Love smokin’ those big muskies except they are so hard to keep lit!

i think my trips with notable guides are starting to wear off on me.

it’s out of character to even catch a walleye that big, for me anyways

Putting your boat away are you?!

‘spose we’ll have to talk EJ into some open seats for the rest of the bite.

It certainly is the wrong time to be in KS.

PS EJ, try lighting the other end.

I have always preferred to put the head end to my mouth and light the other ‘end’, however , I hear you have great success doing it the other way around!

About that open seat, check with me when you get back into town and don’t forget to gargle!

Nice walleye SteveO looks like you are having a good fall season.

Oh by the way I can vouche for him, he normally throws back big walleye, but he likes to fillet the smallmouth.

    That’s just WRONG SteveO!

Why ruin perfectly good smallies with a football game. YUCK!

    Will do EJ! Thanks!

Notable Guide (notice the capitalization SteveO??) are you still catching?

    BK,

Yes, the bite has been very nice. Though if it wasn’t the walleye I’m catching, I’d feel pretty low as an outdoorsman, because the deer continue to kick my butt!

    SteveO,

Well the magic is here again for your green bay packers (notice spelling)the worse thing is, it’ll be another three more years of farve (seventeen years is a long time to watch him from the other side). Well I’m happy for you and I’m sure you do some little dance everytime the Pack scores…
    Have fun.

it’s nice to dream a little. Arizona in the dead of winter, bassin’ on Havasu and Packers in the SB.

i could pass away a very happy guy if that came to fruition!
