Heading for a couple of trips out of fronconia this weekend. Anyone else been on this strech of water lately? Was out there twice last weekend. Swiming was great with the family. The fishing was not to bad. Water levels are the same as every where else. Low. I have seen it lower.
Looking forward to a nice cool weekend up there again.
Well there is still fish in this strech of river. Three trips up there so far this weekend and one more to go. Cant beat that.
Finding a few walleyes but have not located any good areas holding legals yet. Right now I am spending my time checking alot of different areas for eyes and making note of it for fishing this fall. One key for locating walleyes up hear is current and structure. Mainly wood. Depth is not that much of a factor.
The cold front this weekend did seem to slow down the fish a little. It actually put a stop to the rough fish bite. My son was disapointed in that. Plenty of other fish bitting.
Smallies are not to bad and the cats are a little active also.
One more trip in the morning for me.
