Hey! How are things around Franconia? Water level-wise…
Any fishing reports from up that way?

Fishing is good. Crappies are in on the rocks. Small walleyes are bitting. scenery is great as always. Water levels are low but had no problem getting around in a small boat. Ill try to post some photos from last sundays trip later on.

The landing is very shallow as usually this time of year. I still have no problem getting in or out but you will most likely need to put the vehicle in the water. If your by yourself bring waders if you dont want to get your feet yet.

Fished north of Stillwater today working the top end of deeper pools and current breaks. Ended up with a variety of fish including a couple of walleyes, several bass with two coming in around the 2 pound range. Most of my fish came on a jig/minnow combination as well as 3 inch Kalin grubs. The walleyes seemed pretty aggressive. This was new water for me, the colors are coming along, fish sort of willing and not many people. Cant beat that!

We got out and enjoyed the beautiful day. Fishing was slow for us – just one short walleye. We saw a few crappies, a rock bass and a dogfish caught in a couple of other boats.
