Was out on the Croix Sunday about 10-12. Caught 1 northern that was 27 inches and anerexic. And one northern about 20 inches long. One under legal smallie. Missed several fish. Caught all on spinner baits.
Got buzzed twice by the big boys and knew it was time to hit the road. 
I was out last night from 5-8:30. Caught about 5 saugers and 3 short eyes. Pulling spinners with leeches.
Mike and Chappy… what areas were you fishing?
I didn’t have great luck today, but I only fished for 20 minutes. See my post under 8/8 fishing report.
