I was up to Franconia in early June and had no problem launching, but assume the river is a foot lower now. I have 16′ foot boat and a 4wheel drive truck. Do you think I can get it in and out now with the lower water level? I’m trying to imagine how the landing would look today vs then. Thanks – Dave
It has been a week since being there. Water is low but you should still be able to get in and out. Didnt have any problems with my 17′ navigator. Just put it in 4wd and back out until you hit deeper water. Bring the waders or shorts. Think my front tires where 15′ from the bank before finding deep water for the trailer. Been doing this same thing for years and never had a problem.
