Drifting on the Croix for cats

    Here it is, my personal best channel, a full 29″ bellied channel cat!

    Drifting for cats, who would have thunk it. Steve, that’s who.

    Mr. DeMars, a huge THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge and time.
    I am looking forward to putting more time on the water and using the tools and knowledge you have shared!
    If anyone else is interested in drifting, Steve’s past post are dead on to the techinique we were using.

    After Steve’s first report on drifting for cats I myself have been using the method, the C-15rig

    It is an awesome way to cover water looking for channel cats. And the set up is almost snag free

    Nice looking Channel cat you have there I’m sure it hit like hooking a passing train

    Glad to see that Steve is still on the hogs! He showed me his tricks last year and we boated a bunch of piggies (although I had the hot rod that night ).

    When are we hitting the Croix, Driftmaster???
