    Hit the Croix 6/16 6am-1pm.
    Fished Catfish Bar first, lots of bites, only caught a few smaller SM bass.
    Trolled the WI shoreline up to Hudson with nothing to show.
    Fished the “flats” South of Hudson caught one 15″ sauger and another Smallie. Saw other folks catching some decent looking fish pulling blades.

    On a side note, this is the 2nd time I’ve been to Catfish and seen numbers of fish swimming around wih their backs out of the water in the shallow water. They looked like Carp. Anyone know what’s up with that?

    Hungry carp and buffalo’s with their backs out of the water!
    Usually the schools are quite big and they look like a bunch of torpedo’s swimming by.
