So the FW and I take a boat ride this afternoon to do a little swimming, a little boating, a little sightseeing, and a little fishing… It was REALLY busy out there today!
We motored south of Hudson to a quiet spot, anchored up, ate some snacks, had a cold beverage, and swam a little bit. We worked our way down to the Kinni, stopping a few times to wet a line…
The beaches at the Kinni really weren’t as crowded as we expected but I motored around the point to get into that little back-bay area. On the way around the sandbar, we saw some people up on the shore apparently yelling out to a pontoon boat anchored out from shore. All of sudden, this yahoo goes running from the pontoon toward shore, throws a woman down to the sand 
, and cold-cocks, I mean sucker punches 
, this guy that was yelling toward him!
Unfortunately for the Hammer-Dude, the cops had just pulled ashore not even a minute earlier after they had stopped someone in the no-wake zone! We putt-putted around for a while watching the cops handcuff the a##hole. We beached our boat up by the swim area and watched a EMT crew and a county-mounty work their way down the beach toward the poor guy that got clocked… A few minutes later, the guy that thought he was on the Ultimate Fighter program was being motored over the shore, in cuffs, and the rest of his ‘party’ followed behind in their pontoon…
What gets in to people like that? A bunch of people around and they still just snap and beat up a woman and another guy…
Oh by the way, we managed to catch a couple of nice keepers a little later in the day… jig and fathead, nice drop-off area just beyond a weedbed…
