A good night!

    Hit the Croix around 6ish last night… launched in Hudson and worked our way south to a new spot (at least for me) that I’ve wanted to try for a while… There were four of us in the boat and we did pretty well. Kept an even dozen for the frier and threw back a half-dozen or so shorties.

    It sure was a nice night to be out. Very little traffic and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! I hope to get out again tonight but may stay off the Croix this weekend unless we decide to do so some ‘pleasure boating’ and sightseeing!

    we were fishing a different species last night but I found the fish to be active. we had 2 smallies over 18 and a few around 14.

    Nice report King…glad you are still finding them healthy criters…now I need to find my way back down there sometime…

    Glad all you guys got out. I couldn’t find anyone to go with so I worked around the house.
