I’m going to make a try of running some spinners this weekend – behind bottom bouncers and 3-ways. As I’m quite new to this technique, I’m curious if there are preferred colors and/or patterns of blades and beads. Any input??

Silver worked well for me in the past.

Put on a quick change device and keep switching them up until you find the fish’s favorite.

Silver blade and silver/blue beads have been good to me on the Mississippi.

King here’s the way I tie my snelled hooks.
You could tie 1, 2, 3, or more hooks with this snell knot and have your favorite spacing. I watched a old Steve Fellegy Mille Lacs video over and over to learn it.

    Good Luck,

A metallic orange/copper blade with orange beads and orange hook have been the best for me this spring.

On the bottom bouncers, be sure to use the appropriate size so the line from rod tip to bottom bouncer maintains a 45 degree angle. That is when they work the best.
