I will be dipping the boat in at Hastings at about 5:30, just as the sun is starting to peek over Prescott, if its foggy it will take some time to get to Prescott. When I motor thru the wake zone I will pour a cup of hot coffee, the smell of coffee on a cool morning is just what I need before the run up river. I can’t wait for that first thump! 
Sounds like a perfect start to a day! You forgot to mention getting out of the house before the wife starts to yell.
While you are getting into your boat, I will be sitting down next to a big ole’ oak tree waiting for Mr. BIG to show up

I will be out of the house long brfore she gets up, I am taking my neighbor out, he has never been on the St.Croix, boy is he in for a treat.Every year turkeys a goobling along the river, it kind of gives you the fever.
