Water temp on the Croix

    The water temp is way off from this time last year….9 Degrees less! I attached two temp graphs, 2006 and 2007.

    Hmmm, might have to slow down the walleye dredge a few MPHs.

    North of the high bridge it was closer to 50 degrees. In the current it was 47 and in the backwaters 50 degrees so it won’t be long.

    quite a dramatic spike the last few days. 50 degrees is good for the crappie bite.

    50 degrees today around stillwater,
    45 degrees around bayport
