Well I just checked the water level. It is 682.5 and rising. I guess this means there is a no wake rule in effect I think. Not good since it isn’t suposed to crest until saturday!!

Does this mean the entire river is a no wake zone? I was thinking of hitting the river on Saturday

As far as I know from Prescott to the begining of the river. No wake the whole way. Makes a slow time to get from spot to spot.

Rivereyes. What does it look like up your way? Is the park under water yet.

Ive not been through Osceola… but I heard the parking lot is still out of the water…. not by much though… Ive been over the bridge at TF a couple of days in a row though… and MAN.. is that current SMOKIN under that bridge!.. if you have never seen it under full flood… its scary… the hot spots map says its not safe in high water…… but ya got to see it to believe it… shoot your talking class 4 rapids there maybe… you would have to be suicidal to take a boat up there…. I gotta remember to take my camera up there sometime when its roarin like this….

Wed evening in Afton the level was 862.4. But I’m sure it’s on the rise. I didn’t see any signs talking about no wake, which they normally have out. Also The St Croix Valley Ass. had a tourney out of Afton, Those guys certainly didn’t know anything about now wake!

I talked with Brad from Hudson, who was out most of the day. He had a couple of legal. He said it was kinda windy around two pm…. I think we were in a tornado watch about that time.

    Rivereyes…I don’t think I’ve ever seen a class 4 rapids….got any pictures?

I took a look at those rapids a few year ago when they closed the river for opener due to high water. She was really cooking threw there then. Impressive sight.

MN and WI impose no wake restrictions on the ST Croix at 683.00. Predictions are the river will crest around 682.5.
