Ferny’s biggest eye

    I got a 28″ Croix walleye on Saturday morning, took a few pics and released it. My biggest walleye to date. YIPPEE!

    The rest of the day was good also with lots of eyes 12″-14.5″ range with a couple legals.

    Sweet fish!! Congrats!! My brother-in-law smoked me with leeches on Saturday. I caught a lot more eyes with crawlers, but he put several nice wally-gators in the live well….go figure!

    Nice fish Ferny! We both know how rare a 28er on the Croix is.

    Ok now, a few details please. Cranks, live bait, trolling, jigging ,north, south….anything?

    Hey BigDaNip, That was me in the ProV fishing the same spot SHH I brought the kids back later and picked up a 18″er also. The spot for the big fish is N49.40. Just kidding Between Bayport and Hudson with a jig and minnow.
