I never see many people ice fishing betwwen I94 and catfish bar. Theres plenty of deep water and structure, just wondering cause I found a slick spot to put in and walk the Catfish Bar area and was wondering if anyone has had any experience. 
People do but nobody personally advocates this practice since it is very dangerous and you dont want a bunch rookies out doing it.
The current seems to wander between Hudson and Afton – kinda like the jet stream. The ice can be razor thin in areas depending on the flow location.

I saw some guys fishing S of the 94 bridge tonight. I guess they catch fish but I don’t have the guts to try there.
It baffles me to see people on that spot south of the bridge. They are out there very year.
