Tried ringworms for the first time yesterday. Boat control was pretty clumsy, but did get one smallmouth, one 14 inch walleye, and a 33 inch musky! I saw the Musky hit just as I was about to lift it from the water. No keepers but lots of fun.

I’ve tried ringy’s on the Croix and hardly ever get eyes/saugy’s. I have confidence on the Sippi but not the Croix and usually seem to do better with jig/minner.
I’m not ruling them out but it seems to work better when the fish are stacked up like at Redwing and not as spread out as the Croix?? Just my opinion.
Finally got my 1st legal eye after 4 times out last night This year is sure different than last year!

I got one legal last night too. Those 14’s sure are abundant.

Ive had some very good outings with ringworms on the croix… Ive used them up here in the Osceola area, stillwater area, hudson, catfish bar, kinney, and prescott.. caught fish everywhere I went with them…. just give em a try… the colors that are effective are a bit different than Red Wing…. I like the smoke with a chartruse tail…. and chameleon with an orange tail…. then various greens…
