Please welcome Minneapolis Minnesota resident Micah Witham
(Mwitham) to In-DepthAngling’s Field Staff.
Micah is an avid Muskie, Largemouth and Walleye fisherman and can be found hooking into a big one on the St Croix above Taylors Falls, Lake Minnetonka and other local lakes and rivers.
More about Micah, in his own words… “I have been married to my wife Laura for 7 years and am the proud father to Hadley (3) and Dahlia (3mon). I grew up in St. Paul and have many fond memories of fishing with my dad and 4 brothers from a very early age. We fished mostly for bass when I was younger and never seemed to be able to find the walleyes.
In college, I spent 6 years in Colorado skipping class and fly fishing for trout in the best rivers the rockies have to offer. Upon coming back to the cities from school, I have spent my time chasing smallmouth and muskie wading in the upper St. Croix with my brothers, walleyes in the fall on Mille Lacs, and local lakes and rivers like Minnetonka and Pool 2 for largemouth, muskie and walleye.
I have been so grateful for In-Depthangling during the last few years. I hope to get more involved here on the site and in the local fishing scene by offering what knowledge I have on my home waters to those interested, while learning new information and techniques from others.
