Walk out 4″

I hit the ice Saturday for a couple hours on the Croix and found 4 inches of ice in the small area I walked. I saw two other portables out from 3:00 to 5:00pm. Fishing was poor. I have found the crappie bite to get better on the river later in the season though, so it’s not a first ice thing, like many outher lakes. Good Luck!
