lakes near stillwater are thick enough to fish

i know of a couple lakes that have at least 4″ of ice on them, im going this weekend!!!!

Have you heard anything about Square Lake? I know that it’s a slow lake to freeze because of it’s depth and springs, so I thought I would check.

I don’t know about square but lake Elmo is a no my dad told me it is still open. Many other lakes are good to go. Anyone want specifics just pm me.

im trying to keep it on a dl, but little carnelian is close to 6″ ONLY IN THE BAY!!!! if you plan on coming through the public access, don’t do it!!!! it’s close to a mile walk and you would be walking over the deepest part of the lake and i would not risk it!!! I don’t know for sure if i’ll be going out this weekend now since the weather is supposed to be above freezing. But just letting you guys know!!!
