Just wondering if anyone is planning on hitting the Croix at all this weekend??? I’m hoping for find a few hours to get out at least once more… They’ve pulled the docks in Hudson so I was wondering if there were any ‘full service’ launching spots still open.
I’ll be launching from the boomsite on turkey day. The dock is in but my boat is shallow enough. Plan to hit the water and get off around 1 pm. Not sure when I’ll get out but always good to get the fresh air! If anyone would like to join send me a pm. 
Just got off the water a little while ago and I think I was the only one fishing out there. I saw lots of duck/goose hunters out there about 8 or 9 if I remember right not much shooting and not much fish biting. I did get a few bites some real good but just not enough for me to get them in the boat. It was nice out there in the morning calm and smooth water. I saw turkeys, deer, eagles, and many other animals. By around noon it was warm and the wind picked up a little and time for me to eat some turkey. Gotta work tomorrow morn then enjoy the rest of the weekend. No fish to show but I’ll post a pic or two if I like how they look.
Also for those who want ice there waas some still there in the slack waters thick enough to see. I look forward to some hard water also.
