If the weather’s half way decent this Saturday, I’d like to take my six year old daughter out for a shot at something a step up from blue gills. If I can get into a school of ’em, silver bass seem like the perfect fish to hold her interest and give her a taste of catching bigger fish. Haven’t been down yet this fall. Anybody been getting into ’em good?
Can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for this day to come. My little girl with me…on the St. Croix…in the fall…doesn’t get any better than that! My dad’s been gone for quite a few years, but I sure do have a lot of great memories of doing this as a kid. I’ll glady put a day of walleye/sauger fishing on the back burner to chase silvers and carry on the tradition of getting the next generation hooked on this great sport!
Thanks,
Jim
