Since 6 am yesterday morning my rain guage touched the big 4 inch mark.

Yesterday afternoon I was toying with pitching ringworms to my neighbors fence.

Had my own “and a river flows throu it”.

Could someone tell the boy’s in the catfish forum they can slow down on the rain dancing a bit???

I drove to SD last night right through the stuff. Luckily I never hit the heavy rain for more than a few miles at a crack, but SW MN to SE MN should no longer be in drought conditions.

Similar figures from just east of Hudson. I dumped out .5″ on Tuesday morning before work, dumped out 3″ last night around 9 pm, and it’s still going. Here’s hoping our next significant rain is not another month away.

Dumped out 4.5″ this morning. Planning on going out on the Croix tommorrow morning. Anybody know what that might be like? Too much debris?

Hey Putz – I am going out catfishing tonight. I will give you a reply on this post as to the conditions I find. I will be fishing upstream of Stillwater.

Another half inch this morning…as of 9:30 we are at 4.5 inches.

Putz, anytime the river rises…be on the look out…more than normal I mean!

Just a puny 1.85 since yesterday on the SW side of Rochester. Seems like I always come up short. Well my name is Brian too!!

Good Morning, Putz. I just got back in. I started upriver of Stillwater and the water has come up about a foot, nice current flow but tons of algae floating in the water. It clumps on your line in about 5 minutes – a green gooey mess. I gave it up after about a half hour.

I pulled my boat and moved down to Bayport and fished the Bayport to Hudson stretch. Water looked good, lots of bait fish, conditions were not to bad. I got skunked though – no cats to be found. You should have good water conditions if you stay south of Stillwater.

We fished several spots from Hudson to Prescott and marked some fish but few takers. Water was ok and not much debris. Thanks C15.
