Only 3 more days till the Hamm Room tourny.

Can’t wait to see what Dude comes up with for the seatings this year. Sounds like Bleaker, Fritzee, Dude, Swervy, etc. have been living on the River since opener. Earl and I may just have to follow these guys around and try and pick up their leftovers. It’ll also be great to see John Gornick back in the tourney this year. Has anyone heard if Turk or Billy Mitchell will be fishing this year?

Lets hear some predictions on who this years winners will be.

I’ll start it out by putting the kiss of death on Davey Hale. He has too nice of a boat not to ever have won the Hamm.

Best of luck to everyone come Saturday.

It’s going to be a tough crowd this year….may be the biggest Ham Room ever. My only prediction is that Bleeker’s Tracker(cracker) is going to crack in half at 7:05AM sharp as he is going under the I94 bridge at 85 MPH shooting the traditional 200ft rooster tail.

Dude has been pretty quiet, almost too quiet. And rumor has it that Turk has been pre-fishing incognito with a fake beard, trench coat and a cowboy hat. But my kiss of death goes out to Bleaker and Carl. They are due to take the championship belt after several near misses.

    Good luck on Saturday

I still can’t believe those fish. What a bunch of hogs.

First Turk weighs in over 22 lbs (six fish) that broke the tourney record previously held by ?? Then comes Dude and Kortum walking up to the scale with a bag that was bursting at the seams. The first 2 fish were hefty 4+ lbers. Then comes a sfelt 27 incher, and the 27 inchers twin brother, and then the 27 inchers twin sister. These 3 fish were out done by a 9.4 lb bruiser. Total weight was 35 lbs. Unbelievable is all I can say.

Thanks for the beers afterwards Dave and Dude. Congrats again.

You know…there are folks that aren’t aware of this turny…and think it’s a two day event with that kind of weight.

    Like me…

    Nice fishing guys!

I have fished the Ham Room for 10 years…and I am humbled to say the least. My tackle now seems inadequate, boat seems slow and my secret spots just dont seem to matter…..
CONGRATULATIONS Scott and Dave. It takes a pretty phenominal day to change the way that people look at the St. Croix river.
    You guys are walleye gods!!!

Someone needs to plant a GPS beacon on their boat and then sell the coordinates! Awesome catches – wish I could have been there to see those pigs…

Here’s a picture of 4 of the fish taken by the Champs on Saturday. Sorry I cut off one of the fish. These fish were all released to fight another day.
