    I caught a king salmon on the Big Manistee river in Michigan that had a back exactly like that. It was amazing to me that it could still swim and fight just as hard as all the rest of the fish.

    I caught a sauger on the Croix 2 weeks ago that looked identical to that walleye. Were did you catch that one.

    Does anyone know if this is genetic or if it is and injury? Obviously it is not the only one in the river system.
