Anyone hitting the St Croix this weekend. What do you think the best tactic will be?

Last year I stuck with live bait rigging and vertical jigging. I came home with two! This year I’m going to add trolling cranks and pitching and go with anything thats working.
Will be good to be on the water again!! weather.com forecasts a day of showers with a high of 59. Being four days out, it will probably be pure blue sky and 70.

Rigging crawlers, jig/minnow and pulling spinners. Don’t be surprised to see my doing a little handlining too….

See ya all down there!! I may stop in the narrows for a bit but most the day I will be by my lonesome in some shallow water

Trolling rattle traps and other shallow running lures north of stillwater. Now I just need to find time to get out there.

don’t be afraid to try leeches! I’ve had some fine catches in May with the squirmy little things.

JIg and minnow on one line, lindy/crawler on the other. Dodging raindrops all along. With beer. Somewhere on the ‘Sconny side between Prescott and the Kinni. If it was Friday night, I wouldn;’t be able to sleep….

Jig/minnow, spinners and I’m sure I can find something else up my sleeve. I’m in a white triton so if anyone sees me stop on by.
