White Bass Biting?

I was wondering if anyone fishing the river has been catching any white bass as of late. Last year on the walleye opener I really had fun pulling in these guys on every cast. I was hoping to take some inexperienced people fishing and catch a few dozen of these for fun.

People get them a lot near the power plant. I know when they are biting I sell a lot of 1/4oz. white rooster tails that we carry at the store. They just started selling last week.

biggill – There is a good white bass bite going right now. I watched several boats catching white bass in the Hudson area – I didn’t have any luck. I got blown off the river – that south wind blew right up the river and made boat control impossible. We gave up after about an hour.
