River elevation on the St Croix at Stillwater was 682.7′ today so the No Wake Restriction should be coming off. The No Wake Restriction comes on when the river reaches 683′. When you launch your boat check the launch site bulletin board to see if the No Wake Restrictions are still posted.
River crested at 683.5′ on 12 April and it is 682.7′ today so we are down a little over a half a foot in 3 days. We should start to see a steady drop of about 6 inches or so a day unless we get a bunch of rain again. This beautiful weather could make for a great spring fishing season.
Water temperature was 55 degrees today so the White Bass should turn on pretty soon – saw some postings from Pool 4 that the white bass bite was going good. St Croix should start pretty quick.
