I saw them out in 2 different places tonight.
Does that mean the frost went out? I saw a lot of water standing in the fields on the way home from work.

Spring is here Bud. Did you take advantage of it and get a bunch or get caught off guard like the rest of us?
    Thanks, Bill

Thier out and all over the streets down here, the big spring crawlers that you don’t get come june. Nows the time of year to pick up thousands of the big spring ones if you can hold them. Put them in the basement on the floor where they’ll stay cool throught july or in spare fridge set at 55 to 60 degrees, too much cooler then that and they die easier in the heat of the day when fishing. Good way to feed them is ground up cattle feed with high protein mixed in with the peat moss and soil combination, works great and you can hold them all winter. Remember to not hold too many in one container and change the bedding or it gets too much body waist and will kill them, change it about every three weeks to a month if your holding alot in one container. 75/25 peat and soil with cattle food with added protien works great.

Talk about easy pickings, I snagged about 20 dozen last night. I didn’t even have to pull one worm out of the ground.

Thank god. Those poor robins have been back for weeks wondering what the heck is happening.
