Fish Identification

    Can someone inentify this fish for me? It sort of lookes like a silver, but I don’t think it is. It was about 17 inches long.

    I guess I won’t doubt you river rats! It’s missing the dark lateral lines and the eye seemed differant from white bass.

    Well either way, is it true that they are as tasty as sheephead!

    clearly a white bass.. the only things even close are true striped bass and wipers… which are a cross between stripers and white bass…..

    It’s a white bass alright…..They sure are fun to catch.
