TommyJ!
Welcome aboard! It’s nice to see another “Hudsonite” on the forums here! Thanks for sharing your results!
January 21, 2003 at 9:33 pm #250784That makes at least 3 of us, probably more! Welcome to a super site! Something you should know….word is Stillakid2 counts sheepheads when he can’t sleep which usually happens after “pigging out” on them! You have to get his “sheep dip” recipe, Comanchero15 rigidly maintains, in the face of much scepticism, that it is absolutly superlative! Maybe ewe too will find it delightful.
JackJanuary 21, 2003 at 9:51 pm #250785ewe is clearly the right word here!!…. sheepies… baaaaaaaa humbaaaaaaa!!!
January 21, 2003 at 10:03 pm #250789Ahhhh Jack………….. you are a masterpiece aren’t you? lol! It’s one thing to welcome someone to “the family” but do we have to reveal our entire history on the first day??? ‘Twas a beautiful summary though…………..and I do mean beautiful!!!
Here sheepie, sheepie, sheepie, sheepie………………..YUM!
January 21, 2003 at 10:32 pm #250792well comanchero.. your close on what kills/killed superman… it was the Pups breath…. from consuming said gourmet (fit for a pig!.. ooops.. I mean NOT fit for a pig!) meal…… poor superhero never knew what hit him….. I can sympathize.. its why I had to sell my old tiller boat and get a console… now the Pup sits in back…. and I can drive the boat without holding my breath!..
and you better watch out using that stuff for flatheads… sure it works better than dynamite.. or even rotenone… but I think they EPA might have something to say about it……January 21, 2003 at 11:22 pm #250796Huh?………..Wha’?……… I need a hug!
NOT!!! Boy………..cut off you guys’s salaries over subordination issues and you get downright cranky! As for the EPA/Flathead bait…………it’s all natural byproduct so I don’t think they’d have as much problem with that as they do my halletosis (sp?). They’ve been on my case about the clean air act……………I’m like………what am I supposed to do? Stop breathing? Sorry but I don’t think my life’s call was one of martyrdom………………..but then again, you guys are killing me each and every day! I feel like Sid from Ice Age!!!
How ’bout you guys take a break, crack open a cold one, and poke a stick in ecnook’s eye? Oh……Hi Dave!
January 22, 2003 at 5:51 pm #250826Well its looks like this is going to be most interresting in the days ahead. Iam looking forward to this site and hope I can keep up with all the new info stillakid I hear that if you make a necklace out of them stones in them sheeps head that you can ward off evil and even some of the sheep(cheep) talking. I like to thank you for the welcome and Iam proud to be a Hudsonite . I was kind of trying to find info on the fishing luck or lack of. Maybe you guys would care to share some info on some place the fish are not so shy
January 22, 2003 at 11:43 pm #250867Hey kid… your culinary prowess with Sheephead is well known. What about mudpuppies? That’s about the only legal catch I’ve made on the St Croix this winter. They sure look tasty!
January 23, 2003 at 12:46 am #250872I’ll have to check my culinary library and see if I can gather enough crossover information to put a delightful dish together. Maybe check in with Swany just to be certain!
Hey Tommy……….about those pearls and the warding off of evil spirits………….sounds peaceful but warding off the evil likes of Rivereyes and Comanchero requires other tactics. Tactics like converting my bow mount into a catapult for launching sheepers into THEIR livewells! Then wrist rocket some Grey Poupon into the tackle box………….no lid of course! I hear those mustard colored lures are hot………imagine if they were scented a bit?!?! YEAH!!
