Fishing Report – 27 December

    Hit the Power Hour from 4:00 – 6:00. Beautiful evening to be out, clear, warm, light breeze. Caught 3 eyes from 4:30 to 5:00 and then they stopped. All small fish. Caught 2 on the Dead Stick with a fathead on a glo jig. One on a jigging rap. Fished in 30 feet of water. Ice still looks good – measured 9 inches. Seems to be a fair amount of fishing activity from Stillwater to Hudson for those willing to walk a little ways.

    The EyeJacker grew up in Stillwater area, graduating from SHS, and still maintains an allegiance to the Vikings, which is not particularly popular in this territory as you might imagine. I am sure you will tangle with your pontoon sooner or later, maybe as early as tonight. If/when you do, remember not to drive! . Happy New Year!
