ICE in OSCEOLA!

    Drove over the bridge sunday morning and about 5 guys were out fishing on the back waters in osceola!!! Not sure how the fishing was?? Any body else been out ice fishing anywhere??

    Anybody catching any fish in this area on the ice?? Backwaters are full of ice??? How is the fishing???

    Dont know. Last year the backwater in the park was giving up some nice crappies. Sunnies on the bottom crappies up higher. I havent been down there yet but will hit it a couple of times this year. Did you notice any Ice on the main river. Cant imagine I will be getting my boat in there until spring. What a sad thought.

    I only have hear say on it… but Ive heard it was pretty slow this year….. with some small crappies and small northerns….
    maybe someone else has different info….
    the main channel has froze and opened a few times…. your not gettin on it with a boat though…. there are only patches of open water……..
