My computer died that I pull pictures from my “old” digital camera. I thought I lost them all, but today as I was restoring things…I found them.

Went out a week a go with a fella by the name of Putz. We didn’t come home with at ton of fish for the skillet, but we did have a good time. It’s amazing that the “fish” can be so unimportant in fishing at times.

Here’s a few pitures of our day. Now these pictures haven’t been edited and you may know the spot we are fishing…but I made putz put the fish in the live well until we moved from the area. So..in other words, you’ll never really know where these fish were caught.

The above is Putz…just warming up….

Last but not least…a double at the end of the day…what? Did I say we were fishing walleyes?

    Ps…mine was bigger…

If you ever get a chance to go fishing with the Putzster…do it. A good man and a good time. Just make sure he leaves the lutefisk at home and don’t eat too many of the peanut butter, jelly and venison sandwichs…they sneak up on ya!

Sure Brian, I was sleeping well thinking that those pictures were lost in the ethernet or something like that.

Sorry, Jeff. I was sitting in this boat at 0430 watching 4 catfish lines doing nothing so I decided to pull one up and try a nuckleball with a crawler. Sheepies loved it but I promise I will try them again in walleye waters.

Interesting note. Brian was kind enough to take me on the river once last year and once this year. Since then I’ve had the poc boat on the river twice and caught more walleyes (although some shorts) than with Brian. Want some pointers?

I heard somewhere that you should never take freinds (that live close by) to your good fishing spots…

Let me know when your ready to go again, I found some bigger silver bass…

You bring up a good point, Slider. In retropect, we didn’t even have a beer that day until we got off the river. Bad for the reputation.

You are right, Derek. The bs was flowing much deeper in that boat than here on this website. The fact that it was 4:30 in the morning and 30 degrees out didn’t slow things down a bit.

My guess Putz, is that you didn’t outfish him on either occasion. I did it once and the man won’t let me back in his boat! In fact……. I don’t remember much more about that day than…….. I caught more fish and He threw a jig at my head! Maybe BrianK can shed more light on it…….. but then again……… does he really want to relive it?

(……trolling, trolling, trolling,……… to see if BrianK is biting…… )

Gotta love lake fishing. This is today after the wind went down. 4 footers for a day and a half. Reports will come later when everyone gets over being pounded.

    Putz,

Nice walleye! I was on lake pepin yesterday and took a beating too. I still feel the waves this morning.

If you’d grow some whiskers……. you wouldn’t need to call yourself names like that. Now, if you wanna play superhero, “Yellow Jacket” has a MUCH better ring to it than “BFB”. In fact, any variation would just lead to more embarrassment.

When we going out again man? I need something new for ribbin’!
