Caught a 22″ Brown Trout on the Croix this morning. Any idea on how much it might have weighed. I got a quick photo before releasing it but do not know if it will turn out as I was the only one in the boat. I checked th Minnesota regs book and trout only go up to 18″?

caught a 21 inch rainbow a few years ago and it weight 4lbs 11oz. on a digital scale. It came from a lake. Not sure how that would compare to a 22 inch brown but maybe you can use it for reference.
Lucky guy! I’ve been hoping to run into one of those on the Croix for a long time.

I to have caught a couple browns in the croix… Not that rare if you fish infront of feeder rivers like the Kinni. They come from these river and if the river is still cool enough, they will stay. Nice catch..
