i’ve fished the wisconsin side of the croix and have picked up a few smallies on sluggos and panther martins but i was wondering if anyone has any insight on where to find more and what to use.

In the morning, fish the WI side up river to the Kinny, and in the evening, concentrate on the MN side. Although, if you have docks to fish on the WI side in the evening, it is worth a few tosses of the Sluggo. The setting sun highlights the bait as it falls.
