There is live bait avalible in South St Paul off concord. I work off concord and never knew they sold bait
They are in a thrift shop off concord exchange about 100 yards south of the hitching post.
Just a FYI it may save some of you some time if you drive through the area Any questions let me know and Ill see what I can find out. I do know he olny sells live bait(shiners, fatheads, crappies, waxies) and is open from 10-8pm monday-saturday I belive. I was in a jam today because my minnows froze on me last night and didnt want to go back to hastings for bait. Big timesaver having them right next to work

Do you work on stage at the Hitching Post?

Sorry, just had to beat Briank to the punch. I’m sure he couldn’t have resisted this one.

    Good info.

There’s also an Ace Hardware in Inver Grove Heights just south of Cahill Avenue that has live bait, and they’re open on Sundays.

    Are they hiring?

Buchman…where have you been fishing? Haven’t heard much from you this year…if you froze your minnows…you must be looking for them…?

I just bought a new truck 2 weeks ago. Before that my rear end was out on the toyota and I had about 3 weeks of no fishing But now I am mobile agian I was down in
afton last sat and tues with olny one 16 inch eye to show for it otherwise I have been over in wisconsin up by rice lake and we have been doing good that way so not to much to report on the river. Were going out this weekend to try some new spots up in some shallower water. It sound like a dead sea out in bayport? so Im just going to set camp down in afton and find some active fish
