Has anyone been out lately?

I plan on putting some time in on the croix this week/weekend. Wondering if anyone has been out. I’ll start out in Prescott and make my way up. Jig and minnow or jig and plastic.
Anyone having any luck?

Not me…darn it! Might as well work the wet water. Beats hauling thing on the ice!

I’m debating on hitting the Croix. Pool 4 or Pool 2. Living in Hudson makes the 5 minute trip to the launch awefully appealing. If I hit the Croix I’ll start at I-94 and focus on Lake St. Croix. This time of year I normally fish Pool 2 and 4 but I am curious where the eyes in the Croix may be at, especially without ice. I think they’ll be in deep water with low current flow where they will winter. If the graph shows fish I’ll drop a jig and minnow or plastic on their heads, maybe one will bite.

Bshrimp…check out the drops on the MN and WI side in front of Beanies…they were doing well there a week or so ago.

Wishin I was fishen

We hit the walleyes pretty good on the croix this afternoon. TBO and myself must have boated 3 to 4 dozen. Might try to sneek out there again later the week.
