My 2 fishing companions and I were on the water again on pool 3 and ended up catching 6 walleye/sauger in 2 short drifts. Live baited with jig and minnow. With only myself able to handle a pole ,I did’nt think that was too bad. Tried L&D # 2 in Hastings but had no luck. Corps decided to open a couple more spillway’s this AM. 
and I could’nt control the boat the way I wanted and it was too cold to get frustrated so to Prescott we went.
Went out for 90 minutes over lunch today. Picked up 4 keepers for a friend. It was a tad windy…but nice in the sun!
Brian, You found a ride? Tired of practicing ice fishing at home?
Chappy, thanks for the report. Never tried fishing up by the dam yet. I always thought it would be a good place to try. I figured the water would start receding by now. Good luck if you get out again.

I just pickled my boat last night and it’s off to the barn tomorrow. boo hoo…..
Chappy-I think I still owe you some minnows. I would be glad to repay you on the water…in your boat….
I’m thinking of going Sat. Not sure what time yet as the boy has Hockey practice and I’m not sure what time that would be. You may be welcome to come along…….I’l pm you later about a time.
Deer hunting this weekend. It’s the last weekend. After that things loosen up.
Sure hope it dos’nt freeze up!!!!
