Pike Fishing

    Anyone have any good locations on the St. Croix for pike fishing and some hints?I am new to the area

    what area of the croix are you thinking of fishing? there are pike to be had all over…. I dont concentrate on them but I seem to catch more “incidental” pike when Im fishing in the Osceola to Taylors falls area then when I fish further down…. but I seem to get BIGGER pike from stillwater and down….

    Ive never found any true HORSES… nothing like the fish James nicked in pool 4 this spring… but fish over 10# can be had…. and I suppose if you focused on them they would not be TOO rare….

    Prescott. There’s a weed bed that runs in front of the park on the Minny side. Bucher Top Raiders on a windy day. Plop Plop Plop Plop…….

    There’s some real nice Pike in there.

    i cant say i know of a specific spot but like rivereyes said ive picked up on them incidently,

    When it is real hot in the summer I have caught them around the Kinny. If there is too much boat traffic forget about it.
