A lure that worked last night

    I tried an off the wall lure last night (by my standards) and it seemed to work. A jumbo hot-n-tot brought in saugers nicely. Tried one then ended up running two. Just thought I’d pass it on. One was fire tiger the other just bright yellow. I don’t know the size number but it was comparable to a number 7 shad rap. They seemed to run about 22 feet.

    Pulling raps again tonight…it seemed the fellas jigging (don’t read this Suzuki) were doing much better than the other 8 or so boats.

    Hot & tots have been a go to bait for me for years on the river. You really wanna mess em’ up try to find some of the now discontinued deep down rattlin’ fat raps. They run 30′ on 150′ of fireline and the saugers and eyes hate them.
