Just wondering if I’ll see any new faces this weekend at the Beanies Tourny?

I need to know who to watch out for!

Hey Brian, what are the details of the tourney? How many boats, and how far can you run? Wondering if I should try to make time and get out there, or try to shoot a duck or a deer??

Do you have to pay to launch too? Do you have to launch at beanies?

Yes there is a launch fee…but because of the tourny…If you can, I would launch somewhere else.

Hey! Here’s a deal for you! If you take away the first place prize from Turk, I’ll pay your $20 entry fee!

It would be worth it to see the look on his face….
    Am I mean or what!?

Wow Brian, you might get a big wet fish upside the head?? I wish I could help out and take your $20, but I don’t know where Turk finds those big boys.

Last winter he was thinking if he could get away with dropping me in a hole…but he wouldn’t have been able to hide my truck.

THAT’s the whole problem! He doesn’t have a “secret” spot. There’s always fisherman around him. Personally, I think it some top secret formula ….like “Turkjuice”.

I plan on fishing close to him wearing my bright yellow IDA speedo, in hopes of throwing him off. Thanks for reminding me, I need to get some beach sand to toss in his boat….

Solunar table shows Sat from 0830-1330 as excellent. Hope that helps.

How does the river look? What is the water clarity? Any garbage/trees/etc floating down river?

Going to be chasing muskies this Sunday and looking for conditions.

    Thanks!!!

On Monday the water clarity looked pretty good. River definitely came up but I didn’t see any debris in Croix. Now the Miss that’s another story. Syrup with logs. Looked kinda like a toilet on Sat morning.

Yes yes, it’s going to be tough competing agains Turk and the other Pros…if there is any. So alternate plan B is to come in with the biggest ugly. One rod for flats with live bait and the other with a worm and cut bait for a channel or sturgeon.

It’s my only chance since you guys when in hiding!

Hey there’s a thought…get 5 or 6 IDA members to fish, I’ll take the 6 biggest in to be weighed! Sort of a community tourny…

Likely to be some rule about that though
