Ok, maybe my company got sick of me checking every hour, or is everyone having issues seeing the current levels of the Croix ?

The whole website was down this morning.
Nooa forgot to pay the ISP?
May 9, 2014 at 12:23 pm #1409547So if we are suppose to count on the government website to tell us if a no wake is in effect, does that mean the no wake has been lifted due to their failure to provide accurate information ??? ……
NewexplorerPosts: 53May 9, 2014 at 12:25 pm #1409548on 5-8-14 noaa’s site the St. Croix was not dropping below the no-wake for the next 7-10 days
May 10, 2014 at 5:43 am #1409618National Weather Service site is now back up. Here is the forecast – looks like No Wake for a while yet.
May 11, 2014 at 9:31 am #1409680Still telling me no launching out of lakefront in Hudson.
Water looks like it came up again todayMay 13, 2014 at 10:44 am #1410066So if i wanted to go up this weekend friday thru sunday and fish between stillwater bridge and I94…I hear the water is high
Is Beanies the best landing in that stretch for price and availability? I always have gone out of boomsite, but that’s quite a haul at 5mph.
May 13, 2014 at 11:47 am #1410084Beanies is 15.00 a day to launch. Their lot is under water still. You can launch but will need to back in quite a ways. Better have a truck that sits fairly high in the water. Standard 4X4 should work fine. You could also check the Bayport landing. Not sure how much they charge. The Ferry Landing in North Hudson is free to launch, but they only have about 6 parking spots and it is gravel.
May 13, 2014 at 12:38 pm #1410095I’ll give Bayport a call. Honestly hate going to beanies…super steep ramp, I usually have the first parking spot but they frequently feel the need to move my vehicle a few times… And not a fan of the price either. If I go at an odd time of night I might check out Hudson…. But I’ll be taking up a spot all weekend
May 13, 2014 at 1:10 pm #1410099Hudson is closed and I believe North Hudson has specific hours that they are open. You won’t be able to park there all weekend.
May 13, 2014 at 1:39 pm #1410105I called up beach house, they’re open and accessable.
Forgot to ask them how many boat spots they have though?May 13, 2014 at 2:07 pm #1410114Quote:

Mike I’m sure you know the Beach House Marina. Some call it Bayport Marina.
AND some people like the motion activated lights….
Actually Beach House Marina and Bayport Marina are two different marinas. Beach House Marina has a boat launch available to the public and Bayport Marina does not.
Bayport Marina is the old Clyde’s Marina that you see as you come down the hill going north into Bayport on Highway 95. It’s address is 200 5th Ave S, Bayport, MN 55003
(651) 439-2040.Beach House Marina is located next to Lakeside Park. It’s address is 1 Lake Circle, Bayport, MN 55003

email: [email protected]May 14, 2014 at 7:19 am #1410250I still think I would launch at Afton to fish Hudson. A little boot scoot no wake up the lake doesn’t take long.
May 14, 2014 at 10:42 am #1410325Beach House is $15-$20…Knew i was braindead thinking it was a free launch because it is open to public…The public is open to pay the launch fee
Wish we could get a few more public landings. Especially ones WITHOUT NIGHT RESTRICTIONS.
May 19, 2014 at 11:29 am #1411144I cant remember the no-wake lever?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Help please.

The No Wake restriction is automatically in effect when the river reaches 683 feet as measured at the Stillwater gauge.
