Slow bite tentative eyes

    I echo reports on the river – it has been a slow bite for sure the fish are not going very strong. I made it out Monday for six hours for the first trip of the year. Landed only two keepers, white bass though. We did manage some more keepers today though, which saved my guide trip. Depths 22 to 8 fow and livebait best for me fatheads and crawlers. Water dropping.

    Where do you launch your boat? Can water get into truck muffler?

    LAUNCH AT BAY PORT.
    I MADE OUT THERE ON MONDAY AND CAUGHT ONE 16 AND ONE 23 AND 25 WHITE BASS.

    I think I saw you on Tuesday…good job.

    If you keep the engine running I don’t think water can get in muffler…

    I think we are the only boat on the river from 7:45pm to 9 from beanie launch site………glad we made it out before storm…..seem like storm is hitting our way on that night if we wait any longer.
