Osceola Landing on the St. Croix River is closed due to high water submerging the access road. Recent rainfall has added to already high river levels, and it is not expected that waters will recede prior to the Wisconsin Fishing Opener on May 3.

Due to high water other landings on the St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers may also have limited access.

Might have to run the kids up to see the water coming through taylors falls. Can be pretty impressive coming through the cliffs.

I have been up there when the flow was up in the teens and it is at 31500 right now. I would have agree at being impressive.

We were across the bridge @ Taylor’s Falls yesterday and it’s really ripping through the gorge. My first thought was JET BOAT jerr

Water levels have receded enough that Osceola Landing on the St. Croix River has reopened. However, the picnic area adjacent to it will remain closed at this time to allow the ground to dry out, so parking will be limited to the spaces available at the landing itself.
